The cool comics NEVER STOP from appearing in front of my eyes in Smackjeeves…!

Here are the previous parts:
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3

image

SPOOKY BABES is about a pack of werewolves (and some vampires too!) trying to fit in a modern society. The art-style is soooo chunky and cool and I love looking at it.

image

Café Amargo is set in 30’s South America and seems to be about some intriguing FAMILY drama.. I really like where this is going and the style is like.. european shoujo..

image

Pahantekijä tells of ye alternative olde Finland (I think??), a bald lady-priest who rides a GIANT RAM and grotesque vampires (just the way I like ‘em)! Real swell use of ink!

image

Sandwitch Hills has a seeeeriously gorgeous style and a big gallery of monstrous and adorable characters with variety in every kind of way. Chubby cyclops protag eeeeeee! I’m looking forward to the unfolding of the story.

image

Toil and Trouble has MAGICAL GIRLS that are drawn absolutely beautifully and that is all that you need to tell me and I’m on board BUT AS A BONUS the story is already in just a few pages promising to be adorable as HECK

image

Adalsysla is intriguing me enough with the history and mythology of Estonia that is eerily similar to our finnish one, but ALSO it is just absolutely adorable because I can see the love that is poured on this comic and how much fun the author is having with her characters and I can’t be helped but to be swooped right in.

omg my girls are on this list!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Everyone check out these other cool as heck comics too!!!

Oh gosh oh gosh this was such a nice thing to come home to!! Thank you so much as well, and everyone should go check out these comics!

this is the gayest poster i’ve ever seen.

I thought that was Captain Jack on the left for a second

that would explain this whole ad

Are we just going to overlook the fact that they’re on the “S. S. Leviathan”?
(I’m not sure where I’m going with that, but there it is)

On the S. S. Leviathan, everyone’s strictly into Dick

that ad is not real, obviously, but it is using Leyendecker’s art and he was pretty

damn

gay

Yeah Leyendecker’s art can be pretty homoerotic (because while he never admitted he was gay, we’re still pretty certain he probably was.)
Aside from the top image, though, come on… those aren’t even close to his homoerotic stuff. He just drew a lot of fashion ads and handsome looking men.I mean I probably would have used this as an example:

24-year-old photographer Asher Svidensky recently traveled to west Mongolia with the intention of documenting the lives of traditional Kazakh eagle hunters, people who tame eagles for the purpose of hunting smaller animals.

With the traditions typically laying in the hands of the boys and the men, the biggest surprise throughout the journey was Svidensky’s discovery of a young eagle huntress, 13-year-old Ashol Pan, the daughter of an experienced eagle hunter. These stunning photographs symbolize the potential future of the eagle hunting tradition as it expands beyond a male-only practice.

Awesome

HH:  So beautiful.

Random question time: What is your favorite type of movie?

MAAAAAN that entirely depends. Obviously I’m a big sucker for animation films of any sort.

But other than that I do like action/suspense films. Sometimes it’s just fun watching a bunch of people beat each other up, ya know??
